【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesfordeterminingthephysicaldimensionsofthermoplasticpipeandfittings.Thistestmethodissuitablefordeterminationofdimensionalcompliancewithproductspecifications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofdiameter,wallthickness,andlengthdimensionsofthermoplasticpipe.Includedareproceduresformeasurementoftheinsidediameterofpipeintendedtobejoinedbyinternalfittings,measurementoftheaverageoutsidediameterforroundablepipewhereout-of-roundnessisnotofprimaryconcern,out-of-roundnessmeasurementandmeasurementoftheaverageoutsidediameterofnon-roundablepipe,andfordetermininglengthandstraightness.1.2Thistestmethodalsoincludesproceduresfordimensioningmoldedthermoplasticpipefittings.1.3Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
